Que Tran - a charming and talented female artist of the Southern Cai Luong theater has just been named in the list of People's Artist awards.

According to Decision No. 1431/QD-CTN signed by President Vo Van Thuong on November 28, 11 individuals were awarded the title of People's Artist. The list of conferred awards includes many artists in the field of cai luong, notably Meritorious Artist Que Tran.

Que Tran is also the youngest Cai Luong artist to pass the review of applications for the title of People's Artist this year.

Que Tran was born in 1981, growing up in a family with a long tradition of art. She is the biological daughter of the late People's Artist Thanh Tong and a 5th generation descendant of the great ancient opera family of Bau Thang - Minh To.

Growing up in the cradle of Cai Luong, Que Tran soon showed her talent when joining the troupes Minh To, 284, Dong Au Bach Long... to perform. At the age of 18, the artist won the Gold Medal of the Tran Huu Trang Award.

Que Tran was successful in many roles: Phuong Thao (play Dancing with the devil), Russia (Song of incense), Phoenix (The eye of time), Princess Thien Kieu (Apricot white). She is associated with the role of peach blossom, peach scent... pairing well with famous actors Meritorious Artists Vu Linh, Kim Tu Long, Huu Quoc, Vo Minh Lam...

Que Tran is also one of the most beautiful actresses in the Cai Luong world with a tall figure, oval face with charming dimples. She was commented by people in the profession that she is suitable for playing both historical and socio-psychological genres.

In 2011, Que Tran was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist. In addition to art, Que Tran is also honored to be a representative of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council term 8 (2011 - 2016), term 9 (2016 - 2021)...

Although famous in her profession, the female artist has a private life. She has never publicly announced her boyfriend and rarely talks about love.

In the rare time she shares about her personal life, Que Tran said she wants everything to come as naturally as possible and that she is always impressed with the type of person who knows how to share and respect her passion.

Family and friends also did not push her to get married, so Que Tran lived quite comfortably and without any pressure.

In 2016, Que Tran experienced shock when her biological father - People's Artist Thanh Tong passed away. After organizing her father's funeral, she fell into a series of sad and depressed days. Que Tran once thought about quitting her job and for a long time just locked herself at home. But thanks to the encouragement of her mother and close colleagues, she gradually regained her spirit to continue working.

At the age of 42, the female artist chooses a peaceful life without hustle and bustle. She still performs, works as an MC, occasionally models, does commercials... Leaving the stage, she spends time with her mother and family.

“I keep an optimistic spirit and always consider carefully before making a decision. I myself am also gentle and happy with everyone around me because that is also a way to help my spirit feel more comfortable," Meritorious Artist Que Tran shared.

The female artist considers diverse artistic activities in many fields as a medicine to help her "reverse aging". She herself feels happy and joyful because she can live with her passion. Maybe that's why her spirit always feels fresh and burning.
