The event themed “Lotus Flower Season” will feature more than 300 vegetarian dishes such as brown rice, oat porridge, bun rieu chay (vegetable noodle soup), and banh xeo gac (Vietnamese spiny bitter gourd pancake) and 50 vegetarian drinks that will be made by nearly 80 restaurants, food stalls, pagodas and vegetarian mini marts.
A series of cultural activities will be also organized during the festival, including introduction of vegaterian cuisine and healthy dishes, music performance, Ao dai fashion show, a fair selling vegaterian food, gifts, Buddhist ritual objects, local specialities and others.
Ticket to the festival costs VND150,000 per person.
