Hanoi named the most affordable city in the world to travel to by TripAdvisor

Dinner in the Vietnamese capital averages $45 per couple, while a one-night stay at a four-star hotel is only $87. Rounding out the top five spots on the cheapest destinations list is Warsaw, Poland, Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, Bangkok and Mumbai.

Meanwhile, a separate top 10 list of most affordable US destinations put Dallas, Texas at the top of list. In general, cities in the southern half of the US are most affordable, while the US west coast emerged the most expensive.
